Q:  Why hire Creative Imagez? A:  A lot of our clients have told us the reason for choosing us was due to our artistic photographic style.  We give you a balance of photojournalistic images, posed images, and variety of artistic images that we get creative with.

Q:  What type of "proofs" are offered? A:  A Proof DVD is included with ALL packages. The images are high rez files that can be viewed, e-mailed, and printed from. We also do not copyright the images for your convenience, so you may take it anywhere to have prints made from. You may also choose to add on the Proof album with 4x6 original proofs.

Q:  What type of equipment do you use?, and do you use Film or Digital? A:  We use top of the line, Canon professional digital cameras and always bring spare equipment to every event.  We love digital because of the high quality, vibrant colors, and how creative we can get with it!  Sorry, no more of the "Four letter F word" (Film)...! -Remember that old stuff?

Q:  What type of approach do you have at a wedding? (Do you stay out of the way or are you the center of attention all day?) A:  I take control with the family portraits and groups in the church and various other posed images, , but most times I try to stay behind the scenes so I don't have the camera in your face all day so you can enjoy your day.

Q:  How long have you been in the photography business, and how did you get started? A:  In the early 90's, I was the "track photographer" at a local dirt race track, where my brother competes in sprint car races.  My family even helped me out and managed the "photo booth" while I was in the infield, capturing the action on the track, in addition to the "victory lane" images.  I then went on to work for a traveling photography company for a few years, where I would sometimes photograph more than 50 families in a day.  After a couple friends asked me to do their weddings, I let it become my main focus.  I still like photographing cars and families, but weddings got me hooked!  It's really a great feeling to be able to be a part of someone's celebration every week, and be able to share my talent.

Q:  Do you or will you travel to photograph a wedding? A:  Of course!  We don't charge extra fees if the wedding takes place within 50 miles one way from our studio.  When it's more than that, we charge a basic travel fee within the state of PA.  If the wedding takes place out of the area/out of the state, ask about our current travel fees, which would cover our expenses for flight, accomodations, transportation, etc.

Q:  Do you bring an assistant to the wedding, or do you work alone? A:  Most times, we have an assistant who will also shoot and help make the day go smoothly.  It's also great to have a second camera used for different angles.

Q:  How long will it take to receive the items included in my package? A:  Your online proofs will be posted on a website within 10 days of the wedding, sometimes sooner.  After you choose the images for your traditional album, they are completed in about 3-4 weeks. After designed (and after you approve the design), the Storybooks need about 4-5 weeks for the printing and binding process which is done in Italy.

Q:  What is online viewing? A:  At your wedding reception, there will be a sign up sheet for your guests to write in their e-mail addresses.  About 10 days after the wedding, we will send a group e-mail when the website is up and running, along with the instructions to view the site and a password, so not just anyone on the internet came view the images. All the images from the wedding will be posted online for 5 months, and your friends and family members can even place orders online.  It has become very popular and also very convenient for those who have out of town family. The best part about the online viewing is that you will earn bonus points every time someone places an order, so you will receive FREE portraits, and there is no limit to the bonuses you can get!

Q:  What do we have to do to make it official and book our date with you? A:  The first thing is to make a deposit, which one-fourth down is required to reserve your date.  (That would be one quarter of the total cost of the package that you choose). There is also some paperwork to fill out.  If you are booking from out of state/out of the area, we can do it through the mail, however, we DO like to meet with you at some point before the wedding, to get to know you, if possible.  Couples always want to find the right photographer, but we, at the same time, want to find the right couples for us too, and to make sure that you will be a good fit for us also.

Q: What should we expect from the free engagement session and what is included? A: Most couples schedule an appointment a few months before the wedding to have engagement portraits taken.  If the weather is good, we have a "Backyard Park" to do some outdoor portraits, where we currently have a garden arbor, fence, pond/waterfall, bench, and more.  Also, some studio portraits will be taken, so bring an extra outfit if you like.  We encourage you to go "fun and casual" since you will be very formal for your wedding portraits.  The session is currently included for FREE with all packages and will include 8 to 10 of your favorite images put into a folio or small album.  The engagement portraits are also posted online for free, for you to view and order from, if you like.
